Odd Fellows Attention.

The funeral of John B. Clemens, who was a member of the Shelby I. O. O. F. lodge, will be held at the Christian church at 11:30 o’clock Saturday morning. It will be in charge ofGre Shelby lodge, but as many members of the Rensselaer lodge as can are asked to attend. BENJAMIN A. WELSH, Noble Grand. Mr. N and Mrs. J. R. Sigler, of Mt, Ayr, accompanied by his mother and Mrs. Dr. Merry, spent the 4th in Rensselaer. Mr. Sigler informs us that the construction of the C. H. Stucker stone road will begin next Monday. The Crown Point Construction Co. wifi use two big tractor engines to haul the stone for the road. The tractors arrived Wednesday. The new system of roads will extend through the township east and west, and will go south almost to the Brook road. It ;s proposed to build a good system of roads through the town also aiid Tt ts probable that a petition will be started at once. We were again temporarily out of “Aristos” -flour-last week. We have just received a car, making the ninth car of flour we have handled since Jan. 1, 1912.
