Breast of Veal With Tomatoes.
Wipe the meat well with a wet cloth and season well with pepper and then rub bacon dripping over it Put into a hot oven and brown quickly and then season with more salt and pepper and pour a can of tomatoes over It and bake in a more oven until the meat is well done,, allowing at least twenty minutes to each pound. Baste frequently with the tomatoes and serve all together on the one platter. Do not bake in an iron pan on Account of the acid tomatoes, but use an agate or aluminum roaster.
