DEMOCRATS HAVE STARTED LIVELY NATIONAL SCRAP.
Bryan Has Precipitated fflot by Attack On RenettonariM and Opposttfon To Alton B. Parker. Republicans are not the only ones who are having a big fight in national politics this year.. The decision to make Alton B. Parker chairman of the Baltimore convention this week, caused William Jennings Bryan, who was reporting the republican convention for various newspapers, to denounce Parker as a reactionary and send telegrams to each democratic candidate urging them to Join in a fight to prevent the seating of Parker. He left Chicago Saturday for Baltimore, where he will carry his fight into the convention. Bryan is pobably hoping to precipitate enough trouble to prevent the nomination of any of the announced candidates, hoping to be able to capture the nomination for himself.
