Monticello Defeated Saturday In White County Field Meet.

y For the first time in the history of the White county track and field meets Monticello was defeated last; Saturday. The defeat was a crushing one, for Burnettsville, Brookston and Wolcott all ran over the county seat. The final result was: Burnettsville, 50 points; Brookston, 23 points ;> Wolcott, 14 points, and Monticello, 10 points. Rinker, of Monticello, was first in the discus throw and that was the only first secured for that city. Van Camp, of Brookston, was first in the high jump, the pole vault and the 220-yard hurdles, 2nd in the running broad jump and 3rd in the shotput and the 100-yngJ dash. /
