Citi Council Meets In Regular Session Monday Evening.

All members of the city council were present at the regular meeting of the city council Monday evening, Mayor Meyer still being absent. The city engineer was instructed to amend the specifications for a sewer petitioned for by Sam Roth et al, by adding a lateral thereto, beginning at lot 4, block 40, in Weston’s addition, on. the west side of Webster street, thence south to Plum street, thence west on the north side of Plum street, where same will connect with the main sewer on Franklin street. The city attorney was instructed to prepare a resolution for the same. C. B. Steward petitioned for a sidewalk on Elza street. Referred to the street committed. A sewer petitioned for on College avenue and Washingon street by Fred Phillips et al, was referred to the sewer committee. The city clerk was instructed to put the Monon railroad on the light duplicate for lights on meter at present meter rates. The city treasurer’s report was referred to the finance committee.
