Roselawn Druggist Arrested On Whisky Selling Charge.
John W. Crooks, the Roselawn druggist, was placed under arrest Thursday by Deputy Sheriff Walter Rainford, on a charge made by Lewis Wetni Jr., who is said to be in the employ of the anti-saloon league. There are said to be three affidavits to the effect that Crooks sold liquor in half pint quantities without a doctor’s prescription. Crooks was taken to Kentland Friday and placed under bond.
