An Indiana society has been organized at Portland, Oregon, with Walter Evans, formerly of Valparaiso, as president, and George H. Upthegrove, another Valparaiso boy, secretary. Hr. Evans ft making t6e race for prosecuting attorney. S. B. Huston, another member of the club, who formerly resided at Kouts, will make the race for United States senator.
