Schafer and wife, who is very sick. Mrs. Schafer was suddenly taken ill Thursday evening about 6:00 o’clock, up to which time she had been In apparent good health and had eaten a hearty supper. The trouble seems to be an abscess close to the appendix. A specialist was expected down from Chicago last night, and it is probable she will undergo an operation in a few days.
