W. S. Lowman returned today tram a week’s visit in the south. -si - Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Miller visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Murray Sunday afternoon. Leslie Lowman, son of Wash Lowman, is suffering with a very aefljKjj case of the blues, caused by school being so near out Tom Nichle killed a cat last week and had some very bad luck Saturday night. We did not learn what the trouble was but we understand that Tom and Chuck Lowman had to drink water all tbe next day. Last Sunday evening as Tom Nichle aUd Charles Lowman were' l coming home from town they were surprised to find that there was another rig behind them. When they turned in at home the other rig also turned in. The driver of the latter rig awoke to realize the fact Just in time to mini running into the boggy shed. He too* out the buggy whip and made Ida getaway before they had time to find out who he was bat they say that there is a fellow from Lee that goes along this road about that time at night and they took It to b# him. They say after this thsy will keep tie gates closed till after ten o’clock to keep the mule out The Moore school will be out next Saturday and there will be a big dinner and also a fine program by the pupils and teacher.
