Blackberry Corn Starch.
Pour off ,the juice from blackberry preserves, enough to make a pint; when hqt (not boiling) add two heaping tablespoons of com starch which have been diluted with a little of the cold juice; cook three minutes, stirring all the time. Turn into individual molds and place in the ice box until time to serve. Pass cream with it
