Grant’s Pass, Ore.—A coin nearly 300 years old has been found In the Gslice mining district in this county. It was uncovered in building a road near Gallce Creek and the Rogue river. The coin bears the mark “Columbia, 1630,” and was probably brought to the neighborhood by earljd Spanish adventurers from California and Mexico; who were search of gold. -*
