Another Soft Drink Parlor Raided in Lake County.
Sheriff Tom Grant, Deputy Fred Furman and Rev. Wickham, pastor of the Christian church, of Lowell, quietly dropped into Frank Ahlgrim’s “hop cream*’ place at Schneider, near Shelby, about 6 o’clock * Saturday nigh* and the sheriff flashed a state’s warrant on Mr. Ahlgrim. The place was searched by Furman and Wickman and five cases of export beer and t*o and a Half barrels of bottled goods of various brands were found. Thorstuff and tbe fixtures were removed from tbe place and stored. Ahlgrim was placed under arrest and gave bond in the sum of SSOO for bis appearance in court. The complaint was filed by Mr. Wickham, who with another party, did some quiet detective work a week ago and secured sufficient evidence to causer tbe arrest: This In tbe second time Ahlgrim has been “arrested within the last few weeks for selling “booze.”
