Of course the foundation of all good dressing lies in the corset, and the woman who wishes to be well dressed takes the precaution of buying good stays. Fashions in this line change almost as often as they do in our outer garments, and to have a fashionable figure one must have a newly-fashioned corset. Just at present La Mode adheres more firmly than ever to a perfectly straight appearance below the waist. From that point .the lines are carried as straight as the stream of a waterfall.
