Had a Drunken Jamboree In Keener Township Monday Night

It was learned in Rensselaer today that several fellows filled up on booze at Kersey last Monday night and went to the soft drink and grocery store of Irvin Francis, in that town, where they raised a roughhouse, overturning a show case, knocking down the stovepipe and throwing the proprietor out into the street. The paries to the jamboree are said to have been Jim Snyder, Sam Obenchain and Charley Stephenson. It is said that Francis threatened to have them arrested but the next morning they put up such a pitiful plea that he decided to let them go. It is also said that the attention of Prosecutor Longwell will be called that this affair as well as to other alleged infractions of the law at Kersey.
