Obituary of Mrs. Edward Cain.

Ann Rodgers was born in Ireland in 1832 and died in Jasper county Feb. 7, 1912, at the age of 80 years In company with her parents she left Ireland when 8 years of age and located with them in Toronto, Canada and she Was married in that city on Aug. 9,1859, to Edward Cain. In 1864 they removed to Joliet, 111., whert they resided u ntillßßo, when they eame to Jasper county, and with bee husband sue lived on ike farm south of this city until her death. To their union were born six children. One died in infancy and another, Jene died at McCook, Neb., five years ago. The other sons are still alive, viz: Francis, of McCook, Neb.; Edward J., of Hastings, Neb.; and Joseph P. and Thomas C., of Rensselaer. The funeral was held last Saturday at St Augustine’s Catholic church in Rensselaer and burial made in Mt. Calvary cemetery, near the home where she lived for so many years. All oi the sons were present to attend the funeral.
