Miss Lottie Stevens is working for N.' F. Kupke. Corn hauling is the order of the day in this section.Orpha Bisher was a Medaryville goer Saturday. Ed Oliver shipped two car load of sheep Sunday. J. S. Bowen and family vtslted Newton F. Kupke and family Sunday. Geo. Butch is repairing- the house and barn on West Moody point. Bert Duggins has been at work on his farm near Newland this week. Bill Steel was at Newland Sunday and is going down the river to hunt next week. Wm. McKinney has the shelters this week. He raised about 10,000 bushels of corn this year. ' Hiram Dickerson is hauling corn to Francesville this week. He has about 4,000 bushels to haul in the ear. The roads are fine down in this section of the country, as we have been wishing for them to be so for a long time. N. R. Kupke had a package handed him on the right hand by a mule which left -a small fracture. He says- the mule’s ribs are as sore as his hand, anhe tried to get even with .her.
