Here is a cheap squash pie recipe: One . cup squash, one-fourt-h teaspoon Of salt, three-fourths cup boiling milk, one-fourth spoon of cassia, ginger or nutmeg, which ever you prefer (I almost always use a Mttle rose water for flavoring squash pies), onehalf cup sugar, one egg, well beaten.
