The business men of the town have responded unanimously to the request of the ministers to close their respective places of business promptly at? o’clock each evening. We also make an appeal to the patrons of our merchants to do their shopping early in the day so that the employer and employe can attend, the meetings. Some of the clubs in town have responded and, have shelved all social features until after —the meetings close. If there are any who have not taken this important step, get in line and do so at once. If the business houses and the soeial clubs are willing to join in this campaign, will not each home in this community be willing to dispense with all functions that will have : a tendency to lessen the power of these meetings.
