Ironing Handkerchiefs.
To make handkerchiefs that have been washed look like new put a very thin starch in them after washingjust a suspicion of starch —and after they araln dampen slightly and let lie for half an hour. Place them on the ironing board with the embroidered side down, If they are embroidered, and over them put an old thin piece of muslin. Press with * hot iron, fold and preseP-Slways under the muslin. This keeps theffiMtrom getting yellow and makes them look exactly like new.' . '
