John Seibel Favorably Impressed With Country at Chickasha, Okla.
A short letter from John A. Seibel, formerly of Rensselaer, and now located at Chickasha, Okla., tells of his delight with the country there. He says the country is fine for farming and he thinks better and much cheaner than in Indiana. He says that he likes the country so well that he don’t think he will ever come back 7; Rensselaer. He says there is plenty to do there at good wages and one can work the year round in their shirt sleeves. He says that it is a tine place for poor people as they car. live cheaper than here. People there are getting ready to put in their crops. The prospects are good there for large erbps, owing to a favorable winter. Wheat is four inches high now and looks fine. John continues “I came here from Lake, N. Dak., two months ago and when I told people here hpw v ,cold It was there* they said they would not live there for the country. ! would be glad tn hear from Jasper county people who want to know something about this country.-* 1
