Football Squad Banqueted By Principal Dean and Wife.

.The members of the victorious high school football team were banqueted Wednesday evening by Principal Ross Dean of the high-school and his wife. Mr. Dean was assisted in serving by Mrs. M. D. Gwin, Miss Irma Kannal and Delos-Dean. The members of the football team who attended were Captain John Hemphill, Charles Porter, Llovd Parks, Cppe Hanley, Virgil Robinson, Bert Greenlee, Fred: Hamilton._ Will Price, Jay Nowels, Fred Putts. Simon Thompson, William Babcock, Roy Gish, Ernest Moore and Paul Milfer. Coach Harry Parker, Prof. Sharp, Rev. Parrett and Dr. M. D. Gwin also attended the spread. Following the supper, Principal Dean acted as toastmaster and called upon the members of the team and each responded with a few appropriate remarks. Following this an election was held and Charles Porter was chosen captain for the next year, and "Ernie Moore was made assistant captain. Unless ihe prevailing rules are changed Porter will not be eligible to play in next year’s team, having had his full number of years under the present association rules. In that event Ernie; Moore will become the active eaptain The banquet was one of the most enioyable ever tendered to a high school football team.
