Taft’s Cake.

Taka two cape of flour, one cup off sugar, two level teaspoons sods, one, teaspoon cinnamon and a half tear-' spoon of cloves, also nutmeg, three tablespoons chocolate, (me tablespoon; cornßtarch, one cap oats, one cap: raisins, one cup and a half apple sauce* and half cup batter. This Is a very! good cake and Is not expensive.
