RECOGNIZES HIS MOTHER
After Three Weeks of Coma Physicians Give Hope of Recovery of Injured Lad. • Yonkers. —Surprising the physicians of St Joseph’s Hospital and relatives who had given np hope of his life, Daniel Conley, twenty years old, is emerging from a state of coma In which he had lain in the hospital for three weeks. He fell from a roof on October 30 and his skull was fractured. Following a delicate operation It was thought he would gain, but not until a day or two ago did he show any signs of improvement His mother was called, and his face brightened as he recognized her and spoke to her. Then he relapsed into unconsciousness, but the physicians said they thought he would recover.
