Lake County Assault Victim Able to Sit up at Hospital.

Hammond Times. Anna Krause, who a week ago today was the victim of Steve fuller’s attack upon her, was able to sit up in i wheel chair in St Margaret’s hospital this morning. Yesterday a comparatively large wood spljpter was removed from her right eye, it having been lodged there when her assailant tried to bore out her eyes. There is grave doubt as to whether her sight can be restored to her in as full a measure as she had it a week ago this morning. Steve Miller, who pleaded guilty to the charges preferred against him in Judge Becker’s eburt, is at Crown Point, from where he will be removed as soon as possible to Michigan €it to begin serving his sentence of two to twenty-one years for which he was sentenced.
