An actor was talking at the Players’ Club in New York about David Belasco’s akill as a Stage manager. "Belasco," said the actor, "has a*i superhuman sense of the harmonies, the fitnesses of things. This enables him to carry out a stage scene to such small details as no man ever dreamed of before. “Belasco, even hi his childhood, possessed this unique sense of harmony.
