Message From Mt. Vernon Says Mrs. J. M. Pierson Not so Well.

A brief telegraph message from Mt. Vernon, S. Dak., states that'-Mrs. J. M. Pierson Is not so well today, Wednesday. As previously chronicled in The Republican Mrs. Pierson recently underwent a surgical operation. She was getting along nicely, however, and it has been expected she would be able to leave tile hoslltal today. The unfavorable message may mean that her condition has taken a Midlen change for the w’orse. Mrs. Piersan is a sister of Mrs. Charles W. Reed, of Barkley township.
