Effect of Dampness.

The one thing that hurts all land fowls most, and causes, directly or indirectly, the most losses, is dampness. Dampness is hurtful to grown fowls, in that it is apt to cause roup, and unless extra case is taken the lice will accumulate greatly during .a rainy or damp stretch of weather, but to the young chicks or turkeys dampness is death in one form or another.
