Visiting Osteopath Talked Of Recent European Travels.
Dr. E. F. Moore, a graduate of Osteopathy at KlrksviHg, Mo., and a close friend of Dr. F. A. Turfler, very pleasantly entertained a number ot guests at the Dr. Turfler home Friday evening by a description of an European trip from which he and his wife have just returned. He talked ol the prominent cities of England, France, Italy, Greece, Switzerland. Germany and Austria, telling of the places of interest and of the customs of the people with whom the tourist from America comes in contact He elaborated upon the belief common in some foreign countries that Americans are legitimate prey and that the porters and guides and cab drivers are all looking for Americans to employ them. In some countries es peci&lly are the servants very tricky. Mr. Moore described Rome, Athens. Pompeii, Paris, London, and Berlin briefly, giving an idea of prevailing customs in each. He was complimented by all j the guests for his entertaining talk. Mrs. Turfler served ice cream and cake.to the guests, all of whom lingered to talk to Dr. Moore, asking him many questions about his trip which covered a period of several months, during which time he studied his profession in most of the prominent cities visited. Dr. Moore has practiced osteopathy in Oregon for the past ten years and will now locate at Portland. He came here for a few days’ instruction under Dr. Turfler, who has a nation wide reputation as an osteopath.
