“Hank" Granger Fined $100 at Kentland Saturday.

Judge Darroch sitting as, special judge at Kentland last Saturday, fined “Hank” Granger, the Thayer ex-sa-loon keeper SIOO and sentenced him to jail for 30 days for conducting a “blind tiger.” . ,7 ? The flqe and sentence is a result of the raid made several months ago by Attorney Longwell and Deputy Sheriff Howard Meyers. Granger escaped punishment when the case was first itried. The Jail sentence was supended by Judge Darroch pend ing good behavior. ■ !) The condition of the parole is such that within one year should any reputable citizen present to the court any evidence of Granger’s misconduct be will be taken up and compelled to serve the Jail sentence.
