Meeting at Conthouse Tonight; Effort to Organize Civic Union.

Johnson; state superintendent of the Indiana Civic - Union, will deliver a lecture tonight in the court room at 7*. 30 o’clock on-the subject, “Community Unity, Spirit and Life.” Mr. Johnson addressed, a meeting of citizens in the court room Sunday afternoon, setting out the purposes of the Civic union and made a clear and earnest plea for faithful citizenship and was well received and there was some favorable comment from those present. Sunday morning Mr. Johnson preached at the Baptist church and in the -evening at the Methodist church and on invitation he spoke at the high school this morning. The lecture tonight is one in which Mr. Johnson believes the public should be intensely interested. He has just attended the national conference of social and civic center development and he will undertake to point out things of interest to the general welfare of the community. There will be no admission charged and all are cordially invited. Mr. Johnsod says that the meeting will be of special Interest to parents*' \
