Every cloud has a silver lining. If you don’t believe it ask a small boy who is too sick to go to school. Many a man who thinks he Is a little lower than the angels would be surprised to know what they think of him. * It’s a poor Yule that won't work both ways. In fact, some fellows seem to think it’s a poor rule to work at all. ——■■» Unlike the average man. the thermometer can take a drop too much at; night and still get up early the next morning. Ennui if merely a condition in which we are tired of doing nothing, and yet we are too tired to do anythings else.
