Mr. and Mrs. Albert Helsel were m Rensselaer Saturday. Mr. Gasaway and John Cooper were in Rensselaer Saturday. Mrs. Mary Weise is visiting her son, Charles Weise, at Butler, Mo. There will be a dance at Virgie a week from Saturday night, Oct 21st. Remember the pie social at the Virgie school house Friday evening, Oct. 13th. Miss Frances Petty visited friends in Michigan City from Friday until Monday. Miss Bernice Cooper, of Chicago, visited relatives here the latter part of the week. Miss Mattie Cooper, who has been working for Mrs. Borntrager, came home Saturday. Miss Esther "Wiseman and Miss Gladys Harrington spent Sunday with their parents here. Miss May Wolf and Miss Cooper, of Gant, spent Sunday with Misses Etoil and Leona Helsel. Mr. Frank Eck, of Goodland, attended the dance at Virgie Saturday nighty and reports a fine time.
