The N. 8. sew Club Is scheduled for ’Wednesday of this week at the home of >6m Rebate Hltcheock. The Sa* and Sew Chib yrtlf hold its

fourth quarterly business meeting in the town park, weather permitting, otherwise at the home of Miss Margaret Johnson. Election of officers for 1911-12 and other important business. The Chautauqua books are ready for distribution at the home of the secretary, Mias Johnston. The Fortnightly Club held its first literary program at the home of the secretary, Mrs. Fern Lough, Wednesday, Oct. 4th, subject, “Woman's World.” Roll response, “Facts . concerning famous American women. Woman’s Work and Wages, Mrs. Hitchcock. Woman’s Place in the Business World. Mrs. M. A. Gray. Woman’s Success In the Professions, Mrs. Hargreaves. After the business of the meeting, refreshments were served, and the club adjourned until 6ct 18, when they meet with Mrs. Hitchcock.
