Tribute to Paris Police.
, M. Lepine, prefect of police, has been informed by M. Duboet, notary, that Prince Joseph Maximilian Lubomlrski, A literary man who used to live In Paris at 5 Rue de I’Unlverslte, han bequeathed 10,000 francs to the prefecture of police In memory of the “really admirable manner in which the police protect infirm persons in the streets of Paris.” The interest on this sum, 300 francs, will serve to reward the most meritorious policemen among those directing the traffic between the Etoile and too Rue Montmarte, along the Champs Blysees, the Rue Royals and the grand boulevard*. —ln Tempe.
