There Were Others.

A couple were engaged to be married the other day in Chicago, and ev•ry preparation was made to celebrate the nuptials, but the bridegroom did not appear. A messenger, however, brought the news to the waiting party that he had business occupation in New York, and could not leave. The reply of the young lady was worthy of the occasion.
