Gladstone, Mich.—H. H. Aliya, cashier of the Stale Savings bank of Kscanaba made an interesting discovery the other day while booking a deposit Just turned In by s patron. Tbe amount was $168.91. Mr. AUyn was about to make the entry In the depositor's beak book, when he glanced at the slip to get the total. The slip had been turned around, and. as the cashier looked at the figures—l6B9l— was surprised to note that they were exactly the same upside down sc rightside up.
