Eim Fed on Bricks.

Springfield, Mass. —In removing an elm tree to prepare for the foundar tlons of the new municipal building workmen discovered . a bulging root about four* feet in the ground. The root was cut open and inside were found two bricks, which the root completely enveloped. The specimen will probably be given to the Science museum.
