Ribbon Cake.

Three eggs, 1 1-2 cups sugar, 2-3 cup butter 1 cup milk, 1-2 teaspoon soda, 1 1-2 teaspoon cream of tartar, dour enough to make batter, 1 teaspoon lemon.
