Funeral of Cel. Suman Held At Valparaiso Wednesday.
The funeral of Col. I. C. B. Suman was held at Valparaiso Wednesday afternoon, from the Christian church, at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev.' J. M. Avann and Rev. Robert Beer. The remains lay in state at the church, with a military guard, from 10 o’clock until 2, and were viewed by many citizens. Interment took place at Maplewood cemetery, where the G. A. R. post had charge of the services. The city council and mayor attendedin a body. The funeral was very largely attended and a number were present from a distance. The pallbearers were Louis Ladauer, 8. P. Hodsden, Joseph Zea and James Vanatta, of Valparaiso; John Morrow, of Hebron, and A. L. Whitehall, of Chicago, all of whom were members of Col.
