OFFER REWARD FOR MURDERER OF PETER LARSEN.

Benton County Commissioners Seek To Clear Up the Mystery Surrounding Strange Death. A reward of $2,500 has been offered by the county commissioners of Benton county at Fowler for the apprehension and conviction of Peter Larren's slayer or slayers. This was done for the purpose of clearing up, if possible, the mystery which surrounds the death of Peter Larsen, whose body was found in the- cistern at the Larsen home in Fowler several weeks ago. The board has adopted the offer and the reward is now in effect The Larsen case still remains a mystery and the reward may be the means of having anyone who knows anything about it to make a statement Mrs. Larsen, the widow, who had a quarrel with her husband just before his death, was for. a time suspected of the murder, but she was not indicted by the gran * jury and she has left Fowler, and te believed to be living with, her daughter in Chicago. The Larsen home is closed.
