Pork Cake.

One pound clear fat pork, chopped fine; pour over it one pint boiling water and one cup brown sugar, two cups of molasses, two pounds of raisins, one pound currants, one-half pounds citron, two teaspoons cloves, one of cinnamon, one of nutmeg, two of soda. Mix as stiff with flour as possible with spoon and bake slowly three hours.
