Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, has written Harry B. Darling, secretary of the State Board of Pardons, that he will appear at the September meeting and make personal appeal for clemency In behalf of Edward Taylor, a life man in the City prison, and whose case a year ago was adversely passed upon by the board. Taylor has served about fik teen years for the killing following a quarrel between Taylor and a town marshal.
