Methodist Church.

; The Rev. E. H. Richards, missionary to Inhambane, Africa, will speak at Trinity M. E. church Sunday morning. Public is Invited to hear this address. The heavy rain of Monday should prove a great benefit to pastures, which were almost burned up by the long hot period. Rensselaer lawns are looking much refreshed. Weeds grow more rapidly than grass and this is a mighty good time to get after them. There are several vacant lots and occasional houses where the weeds have not been cut this year, and the owners should be notified to cut them without further delay. For the most part property owners have taken great? pride in caring for properties this year and their labors have been the cause of much favorable comment by visitors. The seeding period for weeds furnishes reason for increased vigor and most noxious weeds can be pulled up by the roots readily after a heavy rain. Let’s all get busy again.
