MAKING CEMENT BLOCKS FOB THE MATCH FACTORY.

Workmen are Hustling and Thirteen Men with a Half Dozen Teams are Now Employed. ’. . The making of concrete blocks for the tile factory was begun Wednesday and by night ?00 bad been set ThirteenShen and a naif dozen teams are employed and the grading for the sidetrack extension Is about completed. A little delay will be occasioned while the railroad gets ties for the sidetrack extension. The Jrorkmen are now handicapped considerably because they have no water except that which is hauled In. A well is to be sunk immediately and this difficulty overcome. Electricity is ■.< badly needed at the plant, but cannot be procured for some time yet Two hundred blocks were made Wednesday^and more than that number will be-Jnade today. It is the intention of Messrs. Longacre and Meguire, who lire overseeing the work, to hustle everything with the greatest speed. Local hands are largely employed and good wages are being paid.
