Ernest Rees was in Rensselaer Friday. x G. M Beebe was a Gifford caller Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Blacker were out driving-Sunday. Mrs. James Rees spent Tuesday with Mrs. Wm. Rees. Miss Goldie Duboy went to Wolcott Saturday to work. Riva Reqs spent Sunday afternoon with Thelma Rees. Several from here are going to Parr to spend the Fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Clark have another son, born June 8. Reva Rees spent last week with her uncle, John* Watson, of Medaryville. Ed Oliver went to Delphi to get his new five-passenger Ford automobile, Del Bowman and Ross Booth went to Delphi Saturday, returning Sunday. The hot dry weather is beginning to make the garden and early potatoes look pretty bad. Mrs. John Watson and daughter Sylvia took supper with Wm. Rees and family Friday evening. Mary Rees, who is working at Pleasant Grove, came home Saturday and went back Sunday evenfgg. Mrs. Mary Callahan, of Gary, and Mr. Wm. Whited, of Rensselaer, are visiting with T. M. Callahan this week. Mrs. Wm. Gruber, Mrs. Albert Williams and Mrs. Wm. Blacker spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Wm. Rees. Mrs. G. M. Beebe, who has been at Medaryville under Dr. Linton’s care, has returned home very much improved in health. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Quigley and children and Mr. and Mrs. Abe Philips, of Knox, came by auto to spend Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Martin. Mr. Quigley is Mrs. Martin’s brother.
