Snicker Doodles.

Two cups of sugar, two eggs, cap sweet milk, six tableapoonfuls melted lard, cup chopped raisins, one quart flour, tablespoonful of cream tartar, half teaspoonful of sodh; flavor to taste. Drop with tgaspdon on grossed pan and bake in hot oven.
