Nut Bread.

Beat up one egg and beat into » one-quarter of a cupful of edgar; add one teaspoonful of salt and:-two cupfuls of milk. Mix foift>*easpoonfuls of baking powder witJrTfour cupfuls of flour and sift this into#* other Ingredients, adding at tw same time one cupful of chopped nuts. Stir these all together until smooth and then make into two loaves; let them rise in pans for 20 minutes and then bake for 20 minutes in a hot oven.—Harps*'* Bazar.
