Snicker Doodles.

Two cups of Sugar, two eggs, cup sweet milk, six tablespoonfuls melted lard, cup chopped raisins, one quart flour, tablespOMftd of oream tartar, half teaspoonful of soda; flavor to taste. Drop with teaspobn on greased pan and bake in hot oven.
