MAKES TOUGH STEAK.TENDER

A corrugated metal base is mounted on a roller, also of corrugated metal and adjustable at different distances from Ihe base. The roller is loosened and one end of the steak thrust under it. It is then tightened

till the meat will be. well mangled when passing under it and the base portion is slid back and forth several times. The result is that the steak is crushed between these two ridged surfaces and all the spunk taken out of it. After it has been through this process it can be cooked add eaten without fear. The blood that is squeezed out can be made Into delicious gravy.
