Asparagus Omelet.
Beat five eggs separately, add two tablespoonfuls of thick cream to the yolks with a tablespoonful of butter, salt and pepper to taste. Fold in the frothed whites, mix well, add a half teaspoonful of baking powder and a teacupful of steamed asparagus tips. Melt a medium sized lump of butter in the frying pan, pour the omelet in. Fry a delicate brown on both sides and serve at once.
